Our eponymous crag in The Anti Atlas Mountains of Morocco proved once again to be an irresistible draw for Woody during our fourth trip to the region this March. Accordingly he press ganged a young recruit by the name of Hamish Legge to accompany him and cruised up to the crag "for a little look". The result of this foray was a new Hard VS near the left edge of the main wall.

In naming the route Dave missed a never to be repeated opportunity, bearing in mind the surnames of the first ascensionists, to call it Wooden Leg, opting instead to follow the pattern of previous route names with "Sez Who?". Very fittting.

Well, another excellent Easter Hot Rock trip has been and gone with plenty of climbing, walking and sightseeing along with a new departure for the club, scuba diving. I hope that everybody enjoyed the trip and an extensive report with photos will occupy most of the next FMC Newsletter. To those who came - thank you for making it such a good trip, and to those who didn't come - why not, you missed a cracker.

Any one who's listened to me going on about it or read my bits in the newsletters about it will know I'm just a little bit enthusiastic about an area of Morocco known as The Anti Atlas Mountains. Myself and Alan Blackburn have now been there three times. On at least one of each trip we were accompanied by Robin Andrews, Steve Wrigley, Ali Welsh and Dave Wood. I know they share my keenness on the area and it's adventure climbing.
