The club meets regularly most weekends through out the summer and winter months at venues throughout the UK. making use of the Club's two huts both of which are situated in the English Lake District.

Activities Abroad. In recent years we have organised visits to Jordan, Southern Ireland, North America, Central and Southern Spain, Italy, to name but a few.

Members take part in varied activities including rock climbing at all levels, bouldering, ice climbing, winter mountaineering, fell walking/running, orienteering, mountain biking, kayaking, caving, paragliding, skiing and snowboarding.

Phew, and by the way we also like to socialise with an occasional beer! During the winter evenings, the clubs activities include:-

Training on local climbing walls, socials with slide shows put on by members and the occasional outdoor celebrity.

In the summer evenings, we meet at local crags for climbing and short walks or bike rides. See the events calendar for these outings.

The Club is affiliated to the British Mountaineering Council (BMC) members can use its many services. BMC affiliation ensures club members can benefit from civil liability cover.

Members qualify for special discounts negotiated by the committee at many outdoor equipment centres, see here for listing.
